With nearly 25 years of experience in logistics and operations, Stem comes to Oatey from Spray Products Corporation, where he served as Vice President, Operations. He has also held a variety of manufacturing and distribution leadership roles with organizations such as Shearer’s Snacks, Technical Consumer Products and State Industrial Products.
In his new role at Oatey, Stem will lead Oatey’s robust distribution network, driving long-term strategy and ensuring exceptional delivery for customers and partners. By partnering with distribution center leaders and cross-functional partners, he will use industry best practices and processes to drive continued business results and enable ongoing growth.

Based in Northeast Ohio, Stem holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management from Cleveland State University.

Today Oatey Co. announced the appointment of Matt Stem to the role of Vice President, Distribution and Global Logistics. In this role, Mr. Stem will be responsible for leading Oatey’s global supply chain, logistics, and distribution operations.
Before joining Oatey, Mr. Stem had extensive experience in supply chain, logistics, and distribution. Most recently, he was a Vice President at Hub Group, where he was responsible for directing the company’s supply chain, logistics, and distribution functions. He also held numerous positions within the distribution industry, such as Supply Chain Manager and Warehouse Manager.
Mr. Stem is eager to join the Oatey team. He said, “I’m excited to join Oatey Co. and to help lead their supply chain, logistics, and distribution operations.
