Hollywood A-lister Brad Pitt is no stranger to making real estate moves in Los Angeles, and he’s making them again with a spectacular purchase and sale.
Recently, the Fight Club star put his Los Angeles home on the market for $33 million and bought another one for $5.5 million. The $33 million house, which Brad purchased in 1994, is a sprawling seven-bedroom property set in the hills overlooking LA’s Beachwood Canyon.
The luxurious residence has a gym, a sauna, a pool and a tennis court, as well as a home theatre and a recording studio. Although the house is currently off the market, Brad is reportedly ready to let go of the property in order to move on to the next stage in his life.
Speaking of the next stage, Brad recently scooped up a property in the ritzy Malibu Colony neighborhood. The quaint 5,800-square-foot house cost him only $5.5 million. The oceanfront home was previously owned by fellow actor Tony Dow and was on the market for just 11 days before Brad made his purchase.
The Malibu Colony home is the complete opposite of Brad’s sprawling Los Angeles property. While the new abode has just four bedrooms, the beach-house style property does boast its own heated pool, decks and stunning surf views.
Whether or not Brad will be in the market for another Los Angeles property any time soon is unknown, but we know one thing for sure—he definitely knows how to make lucrative real estate moves that are sure to raise eyebrows!
