Macau casino operator Studio City shares soar 28% in trading debut

Studio City International Holding stock MSC, +29.36% was up 28% in the company’s trading debut Thursday, after the company priced its initial public offering at $12.50 per ADS, the high end of its range. The Macau casino operator has been spun out of Melco Resorts. The stock is trading on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol “MSC”. Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse and Morgan Stanley were lead underwriters on the deal. The S&P 500 SPX, -1.49% was last down 1.3%.
