Axalta Coating Systems CEO resigns after investigation into conduct that breaks with company policy

Axalta Coating Systems Ltd. AXTA, -0.11% said Monday that its chief executive officer, Terrence Hahn, has resigned “by mutual agreement” following an investigation into conduct that the company “believes was inconsistent with company policies.” The behavior was not related to financial matters, the company said in a statement. Chief Financial Officer Robert Bryant has been named interim CEO. Bryant has been CFO since 2013. Axalta shares have fallen 13.2% for the year to date while the S&P 500 index SPX, -0.55% is up 8% for the period.
