Futures Indicate Strong Open as Global Equities Trade Higher

Stock futures were trading measurably higher into Tuesday’s regular open following the lead of overseas markets where the rebound in oil and Monday’s strong close on Wall Street bolstered markets across Asia and Europe and lifted Dow futures 90 points above fair value.

At 8:30 am ET, the Chicago Fed national activity index is expected to improve to 0.20 in October from 0.17 in September. Existing home sales at 10 am ET should increase by 0.9% to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 5.440 million.
